This Turnverein is a gymnasium from about the 1890s, inspired by
German-American athletic clubs. Architecturally, it is a mixture of various Renaissance and Romanesque Revivals. The main wing, housing a large gymnasium and the pool, has strong German Renaissance features, while the smaller wing with the pub displays characteristics reminiscent of the early English Renaissance styles.
There is a basketball court in the large gymnasium, a pool, and rooms dedicated to cardio training, strength training, and dance. There are two sets of restrooms with showers, as well as a private bath off the office. Designed for more than just "working out," the Turnverein contains a pub for more relaxed socializing, with a patio (with a karaoke machine, grill, and fire pit) decorated in patterns and colors inspired by the flags of Germany and individual German states. (Apologies for inaccuracies, best I could do with the patterns available!) The small gymnasium and attic are left unfurnished, but ready for any expansion a player may wish.
