SCREENSHOTS
I've been working a lot with bay windows lately. With my love of modularity, and my determination to bring Fifthace's bay window system up to date, single tiled objects were needed with all the functionality of a 3-tile bay window. Since I'm converting 40 or so meshes to new packages, making all those reductions for each one was going to be way too tedious, so I came up with this basic working template from which to make them all by just swapping out meshes and tweaking the slots.
So much better on my workflow. Fine tuning the template and testing that the bay window functions still work took two weeks until satisfactory to save for re-use on future projects. The thought came up that maybe others would have some great ideas for smaller bay windows, and here I have this nice little tool that might help. So I re-imported the original mesh, reduced it to fit the new smaller footprint, and re-slaved it to The Looky-Nook. Now, even if you don't want to use it as a template, you can still mix and match it with your storybook items. Any existing recolors you have for the original Looky-Nook should work fine as well.
There are 3 usable slots. To remove things from the slots in build/buy mode, you will need to to drop the walls down so you can pick them up. Cats like the slots, too.
Also of note, the window lights have been centered on the window instead of on the two sides, like the 3-tile window, so the light effect looks like it matches the window.
Another little word about using this window as a template: The only thing I've really done here is reduce the three-tile bay window into one tile. You can drop some meshes and matching textures in and have a working window. However, if you want any bells and whistles, to move the slots, to slave to a different master window, or to unslave it, that will require some editing on your part. But that's the fun of it, right?
Known issues:
Snow doesn't stick to the steeper parts of roof.
Cat has no interest in jumping up in the diagonal window. I don't have enough experience with Pets to know if I've missed something in the package, or if it is a limitation of the game.

All textures and meshes are EAxis. Do whatever you want with this object.

I'd like to especially acknowledge tbudgett: I got lucky on this one by finding his Extendable La Fenetre Bay Windows. I admire tbudgett's work greatly, and was so relieved to see he had made his awesome windows very much the same as I made this one. That let me know I was on the right track. I was able to make a few corrections and, I hope, a few improvements (no jump bugs, please), by comparing the two windows.

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.

About Me
POLICY/TERMS-OF-USE ADDENDUM:
I don't mind if you include any of these meshes with your lots**, as long as you provide a link to the original MTS page for the mesh. Posting my mesh on any site by itself, or claiming it as your own work, would be considered rude and a breach of my trust and love for you as a fellow simmer.
**Above policy does not apply to Remote Control Thing - it contains an NPC that could possibly corrupt a neighborhood when removed, and I doubt that downloaders would appreciate something like that hidden in a downloaded lot.
