Many of them are fake buildings, but with some professional design and modeling, it would probably blow you away. TS3 had a lot of visual potential that EA just never tapped in to.

Like I said, a clever combination of RHs/shells + deco building models + an urbanized distant terrain can do a hell of a lot. Especially if it's visually and aesthetically coherent. I'm already planning out new-'Port in Blender. I've always wanted to make a world, and it'll tie in perfectly with the other things I've always wanted to make, which I'm currently experimenting with, such as shader mods, postprocessing mods, and UI redesigns.
