Outfit of the Day – Family edition
Just another sims styling prompt. For this one we’ll take the “day” literally and accompany our models throughout the day. Each prompt requires you to take three screenshots (more if you feel like it):
- One group shot in a realistic environment, doing everyday things
Tip: You do not need to build a functioning home for your sims for this step. A simple backdrop of a wall and key pieces of furniture is sufficient!
- One lookbook style picture per sim
Models:
A family of at least two sims (default: a childless married couple)
Other sims needed:
One or more younger relatives (default: twin toddlers) and one large pet (default: a dog)
The prompts:
- Just gotten out of bed
Can be the sim literally getting out of bed, a bathroom-, kitchen- or breakfast scene.
- Ambiguous forecast
Leaving their home the sims need to prepare for quickly changing weather.
- Ew, ketchup all over my shirt
During lunchbreak your sim ruined their work clothes (you decide their job and outfit) and need to don a possibly mismatched replacement.
- “Can you watch the grandkids (nephews/neighbor’s kids/…) for a few hours?”
Babysitting, but not necessarily at home. Take the rugrats wherever you want.
- Tidying up
Clear out the basement, wash the curtains or just sweep the floor, layers of filth a bonus.
- Walk the dog (can be the neighbors’ or a friend’s dog)
If you do not own a pets expansion, a decorative pet will serve this purpose just as well. And if you want to walk your streaming drone, so be it.
- Candlelight and pizza
Or whatever your sims like. A romantic evening meal anyway. Your kids are either in bed already or show what they are occupied with.
- Help! Fire department!
You didn’t think I’d let your sims sleep in peace, did you? Instead of a full-blown housefire you can opt for a roach invasion or any other incident that forces them out of bed and into action.
