Created a small town to play with, and that's the trouble with snow. Any solutions? Sorry about the English.

Use of desert terrain instead of lush? Others can weigh in on this.

I've never shared a town, but here's a link to an empty town. CAW and Sims3 Pack. I'd appreciate it if someone could fix the snow problem.

I think people use mods for snowy worlds. How does it look on street level?

This happens if the distance between ocean level and ground is too low. You can either raise the terrain level which is tedious in a finished world, or lower the sea level.

and how do you lower the sea level? I don't know how to make towns just made for myself to play as the towns of maxis start to slow down after a week of playing time.

You can try the snow mod by Lyralei: http://www.modthesims.info/d/634426...snowprints.html I'm not sure if it will fix your issue for the whole world though.

Click the Change Sea Level button under the Terrain Tools. Then click on your map where you want the new water level to be. You might need several tries until the water level is what you wanted. Mind, the button is a one-time button, so you will have to click it again if you want to try to set the water level again.

In my signature is a link to a CAW guide: https://nornities.tumblr.com/post/1...a-guide-it-took. This and a lot more things are explained in there.

Thank you very much, I'll try it.

Be careful with sealevel though. Houseboats needs a perticular sealevel to work. You need a level well up on "Arc de Triumph" to have the right sealevel.

Even more important might be if you have diving spots. They might not work anymore if the sea is not deep enough.

Thank you all for the advice. I've got room to dive. I'm gonna try snow fashion and sea level won't change. I'm afraid I'm gonna make it worse. I'm new to towns. Otherwise, it works fine. Thanks again, guys!
