i installed the sims2 and the build mode doesnt work at all it is a burnt copy can someone help please

How can I build a greenhouse on a foundation?

What kinda greenhouse do you mean? How about giving a real-life pic to show what you really want?

Does anyone know where I can find a hack that allow you to see the paitings by all the time? (I mean even when you put the walls down)

I have been looking everywhere for white fences and gates. Went to all the recommended links from this site....plus thoroughly checked out the build section under downloads. There is sooo many beautifull and variety of fences and gates in black wrought iron and galss(frosted), wood and stones....but unfortunately no white ones. Please can some one help ASAP.

Well, anyway,normally, it takes Rgiles' transparent tiles and/or Numenor's wall-windows to make one.

Type 1
The wall-windows can be placed on walls to make them tranparent while the transparent tiles can make the roof look transparent yet the roof's shadow remains.

Type2
However, some builders use only the transparent tiles along with the boolprop constrainfloorelevation cheat to deform parts of the transparent roof to be the "windows"...

In your case, if you choose to do it without any cheat, Type one is the easiest way to go but the choices of shapes aren't many.

If you choose Type 2,
1. Build the foundation build the walls and roofs first.
2. delete the foundation underneath.
3. make the roof shape you INVERTEDLY/upside-down downwards to the ground right under the roof area
4. press "Ctrl-Shift-C" simultaneously, and input "boolprop constrainfloorelevation false"
5. use the levelling tool from the terrain tools to flatten the ground back, you'll see the roof is deformed.
6. press "Ctrl-Shift-C" simultaneously, and input "boolprop constrainfloorelevation true"
7. rebuild the foundation.

Follow your instructions. But when I went to put the foundation back it wouldn't let me, so I toke the wall and the foundation and it worked. Thanks for your help.

I need to find out how to make fully reflective walls(something like paint or wallpaper) or one way mirrors(like a window that is reflective on one side) that takes up an entire wall. Is this possible? Is there some kind of color you need to use to make it reflective because I know there's one for making transparent floors so maybe it's the same basic idea.

Hi everyone, I'm having troubles in building a house. When I build the second floor, there are some places that I can't build wall there. The message is "Attached to wall". Does anyone know what that means? And how to avoid it? Is there any trick that allows me to build wall there?

Hi, I'm looking for a recolor of the multi story window with red glass. I'm talking about the thinner one not the atrium window. I used to have it a long while ago, but after my computer crashed all my files were gone. So could somebody please tell me where to find them? And if they can't be made anymore, could you also make the window have a black frame? I would really appreciate your help. Thanks!

I'm looking for a mirrored floor tile. What I'm trying to do is create a shiny floor (laminate, wood, and/or marble) with a slight reflective quality. Just like a nice shiny clean floor. I've searched here and found one hit that brings up a blank page when I click on it. Searches on the web have been frustrating.

Anyone know where I can find one or perhaps even make one? I did a quick search of the tutorials and the only one I thought might be close was the transparent floor tile tut, but I don't think it's what I need.

Besides, getting some mirror floor tiles, it's actually possible to make some floor tiles with a bit of reflectivity, but I'm unaware of if there's any tutorial out here or there.
